We are checking in for the night just 3 miles south of Prescott on Hwy. 89 at the White Spar Campground. Tomorrow we will run some errands in Prescott so we appeared out of the boonies back in to what is called civilization. Even though there are no electrical hook-up’s we are surprised about the number of facilities here, being a double pithouse and potable water for every ten sites. Sites have picnic tables and fire rings. The many trees here and the abundance of different bird species give us a little break from the Arizona desert, and even though cell and data reception is average we still stream videos at night. Pictures below give a representation of the campground as of April 2018.
