On Highway 95, west of Blanding, Utah, at mile marker 87 is an abandoned airstrip which lends itself well to overnight boondocking. The airstrip is located just off the road and is barely discernable. Needless to say, there are no facilities and the runway (or whats left of it) has a number of potholes in it so be careful. We found a nice level spot and didn’t experience any noise from traffic. All in all, a nice free spot, eventhough a trashcan would have been nice but hey, beggars can’t be choosers.
