About one mile south of Randle WA, on Hwy 131 we found an area that allows for boondocking. This is an old mill pond turned in to a wildlife sanctuary. There are no amemities here but needless to say cell/WiFi reception was very good with the town nearby. Road noise wasn’t an issue as the road is not well travelled. During the season this place may just come in handy if all parks are full and a “Plan B” is in order. Tip: This is a good jump off point to see the east side of Mount St Helen. All in all a nice place to recharge and get some rest.
