Memphis Texas City Park Camping Area.

The town of Memphis, TX offers free camping at their City Park. There are 8 sites available with electricity and water (season dependent). The sites are located next to the swimming pool in two rows of four. The area is moderately lit at night, and there was not much abient noise but we could hear trains go by in the distance every so often. Cell and data reception was good. Having travelled through this town many times over the years, this time we got to see a bit more of the town rather than just passing through. A permit is required to stay at the Memphis City Park Campground and can be obtained by calling Town Hall at 806-2593001
