We are visiting family in Florida for the holidays and didn’t get a chance after Nomadfest2018 to get some good Texas BBQ so we figured we would have to wait until next year when we head back. We found some authentic Texas BBQ in the most unlikely spot, Seminole, FL. called Willie Jewell’s Old School Bar-B-Q.
The brisket was moist and juicy which is a sure sign you’re on the right trail. The cashier assured us that we would be pleased and he was right. The menu was loaded with meat options as well as sides.
If you are BBQ fan give this place a chance. The place appeared to be new but the brisket was definitely smoked by someone that knows what they are doing. We will be back to try some of the other selections on the menu. Who would have thought that we could find some old school BBQ in Florida?
