Hawsapple Campground in Paonia State Park, CO.

The Paonia State Park, located about 50 miles south of Glenwood Springs on CO 133, contains two campgrounds; Hawsapple (where we stayed) and Spruce. Hawsapple is a small campground with 8 sites, and is open from April through September, This campground is for RVs only amd has a 25 ft max. length restriction. Camping fee is 10$ per night. No cell/data service is available here. Sites are fairly level, have a grill and a covered table. Pit toilets & trash recepticles are available, as well as a dump, however no drinking water. There is one handicap accessible site at this campground. We did not check the Spruce campground and may leave that for the next time we travel through this part of Colorado, but we assume the rates and amenities are very similar.
